A couple weeks ago we took Max to Sausalito, California for a day trip. Sausalito, which means "little willow" is situated on the northeast end of the Golden Gate Bridge in Marin County. It is a beautiful little town that combines hillside with shoreline, and best of all, Sausalito is very dog-friendly!
Max, enjoying the viewWe had lunch on the shore and Max enjoyed watching the birds. It is a great weekend getaway for anyone who is visiting the Bay Area.
After a fun-filled day in Sausalito, Max had a date with Lilo, the maltese.

Sausalito was a nice getaway and I am sure we will be heading back soon. Have you been to California? What is your favorite California spot?

must be a wonderful trip, they look so happy, me and my sister Dollar have not been traveling much this year.
there is a place naar san clemtete, where the walk down to the ocean is covered with those california ice plants, and then the ocean, and soft sand...it is by a howard johnsons and of course within easiy access to seaworld....that is my favorite poace
I love the redwood forests up there, absolutely amazing to hike through.

Max & mommy! oh we missed your pawty ~ uh late happy barkieday we know you had a blast. we're trotting around giving love licks to our friendzees. our computee box is still broke but we have one to use till it is fixed.
